Terms & Conditions

Rates
All published rates are quoted per adult or child per night inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) in South African Rands

Amakhosi Safari Lodge reserves the right to amend any advertised rates without any prior consent or notice

Reservations
All reservation requests, amendments and cancellations must be made in writing to Amakhosi Safari Lodge by e-mail (info@amakhosi.com) or fax (+27(0)34 414 1172)

Deposits
50% of the total Reservation amount is due within 14 days after booking confirmation

The balance is due 30 days before arrival at the Lodge

Payments can be made using any of the following methods:

DIRECT BANKING - NEDBANK / STELLENBOSCH BRANCH CODE 149 821 / ACCOUNT NO. 1498070515 / SWIFT CODE NED SZ AJJ / please fax the deposit slip with the booking number as reference to: +27(0)34 414 1172

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT - We welcome Visa and Master cards, Reservations will send a credit card authorization form to be faxed back to the Lodge on fax no. +27(0)34 414 1172

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 30-15 days before arrival, 50% cancellation fee will be charged Cancellation 14-4 days before arrival, 75% cancellation fee will be charged Cancellation 3-0 days before arrival, 100% cancellation fee will be charged

Child Policy
We welcome children of all ages, but it is not advisable for children under the age of eight years to join in scheduled gamedrive times, this decision will be at the discretion of your guide

Baby sitting facilities are available at a nominal fee

A Kiddies gamedrive can be conducted outside of normal gamedrive times with parents joining their children

Children 0-5 years are accommodated on a complimentary basis

Children 6-12 years of age sharing with two full paying adults, will be charged 50% of the adult sharing rate.

Tour Leaders or drivers
Tour guides or drivers accompanying their guests can be accommodated in our driver/guide accommodation facilities - please enquire at our reservations (email:info@amakhosi.com / tel. +27(0)34-414 1157) for a quote on this facility
